Payment for School Meals
Parents must pay in advance for school meals by sending cash or cheque (made payable to the EA Southern Region) in an envelope marked with your child’s name, amount enclosed and days
school meals are to be taken. Meals can be paid for on a daily or weekly basis.
When Payment for School Meals Has Not Been Received
We cannot allow dinner money debts to accumulate for more than one week. If the payment for school meals is not received a letter will be issued to the parent. If payment is not received within seven days parents will be contacted to inform them that school meals will be suspended and that they must provide a packed lunch.
Consequences of Non Payment for School Meals
If payment is not received within five days, the school reserves the right to refer the debt to the Education Authority’s debt collection department.
Free School Meals
If parents believe that they may qualify for entitlement to Free School Meals please call at the school office for an application form.
